The Heron Guard....the Blademaster is the highest rank among warriors, earned only after besting a Blademaster. This level of mastery in the sword is achieved only by those with the necessary inborn abilities who have spent years studying the sword, usually at the expence of other skill, or even hobbies. Blademasters are entitled to wear a sword marked with a heron, the symbol of mastery. A small group of these Blademasters have come together....they are known as the Heron Guard... |
